Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا النَّاسُ يُصَلُّونَ فِي مَسْجِدِ قُبَاءَ إِذْ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ إِ
نَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ قُرْآنٌ وَقَدْ أُمِرَ أَنْ يَتَوَجَّهَ إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ قَالَ فَاسْتَدَارُوا

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Isma'il ibn 'Umar, from Sufyan, from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar — that he said: 'While the people were praying in the mosque of Quba', a man came and said: "Revelation has come down to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he has been commanded to face the Ka'ba." So they turned [toward it].'
