‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏وَكِيعٌ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏الْعُمَرِيُّ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏نَافِعٍ ‏ ‏عَنِ ‏ ‏ابْنِ عُمَرَ ‏ ‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏كَانَ ‏ ‏تُرْكَزُ لَهُ ‏ ‏الْحَرْبَةُ ‏ ‏فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ فَيُصَلِّي إِلَيْهَا ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Waki', from al-'Umari, from Nafi' — that a spear [harbah] used to be planted [in the ground] for the Prophet ﷺ at the two 'Eid prayers, and he would pray facing it [as a sutra].
