It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Waki', from al-'Umari, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Bakr ibn 'Ubayd Allah ibn 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar — that he said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When any of you eats or drinks, let him not eat with his left hand and let him not drink with his left hand — for Shaytan eats and drinks with his left hand."'
