حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا حُصَيْنٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ نُمَيْرٍ أَبُو مِحْصَنٍ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ حَدَّثَنِي سَالِمٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ الن
َّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ يَوْمَ عِيدٍ فَبَدَأَ فَصَلَّى بِلَا أَذَانٍ وَلَا إِقَامَةٍ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءٌ عَنْ جَابِرٍ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مِحْصَنِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Ali ibn 'Abdullah, from Husayn ibn Numayr Abu Mihsan, from al-Fadl ibn 'Atiyya, from Salim, from his father — that the Prophet ﷺ went out on an 'Eid day and began [directly] with prayer — without adhan or iqama — then delivered the khutba. ['Ali] said: 'And 'Ata' narrated the same to me from Jabir.' — [Second chain via Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr al-Muqaddami, from Abu Mihsan ibn Numayr, from al-Fadl ibn 'Atiyya, from Salim, from his father, from the Prophet ﷺ — the same.]
