Hadith #120
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَخْبَرَنِي سَا
لِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ أَلَا إِنَّ الْفِتْنَةَ هَاهُنَا يُشِيرُ إِلَى الْمَشْرِقِ مِنْ حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Abu al-Yaman, from Shu'ayb, from al-Zuhri, from Salim ibn 'Abdullah — that 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar said: 'I heard the Prophet ﷺ while he was saying on the pulpit: "Lo! The sedition [al-fitna] is here!" — pointing toward the east — "from where the horn of Shaytan rises."'
