ٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْهَى إِذَا كَانَ ثَلَاثَةُ نَفَرٍ أَنْ يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ الثَّالِثِ

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yunus, from Layth, from Nafi' — that 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to forbid, when three people were gathered, two of them from conversing privately, excluding the third.'
