English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Abu al-Jawwab, from 'Ammar ibn Ruzayq, from al-A'mash, from Mujahid — that he said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Allah forgives the mu'adhdhin [caller to prayer] to the extent of the reach of his voice, and every moist and dry thing that hears his voice bears witness for him."'
