‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏مُعْتَمِرٌ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏نَافِعٍ ‏ ‏عَنِ ‏ ‏ابْنِ عُمَرَ ‏ ‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏كَانَ ‏ ‏يُعَرِّضُ ‏ ‏رَاحِلَتَهُ ‏ ‏وَيُصَلِّي إِلَيْهَا ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Mu'tamir, from 'Ubayd Allah, from Nafi' — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to position his riding camel crosswise and pray toward it [as a sutrah].
