حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ لَا يَسْتَلِمُ شَيْئًا مِنْ الْبَيْتِ إِلَّا الرُّكْنَيْنِ الْيَمَانِيَيْنِ فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ يَسْتَلِمُهُمَا وَيُخْبِرُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَفْعَلُهُ
English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Surayj, from 'Abdullah, from Nafi' — that Ibn 'Umar would not touch anything of the House [Ka'ba] except the two Yamani corners — he would touch them and report that the Prophet ﷺ used to do the same.
