Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما), that the Prophet ﷺ used to have the short spear [anazah] carried out with him on the day of al-Fitr and al-Adha [Eid prayers], and it would be planted in front of him, and he would pray toward it.
