حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ شِهَابٍ ع

َنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ الْهِلَالَ فَصُومُوا وَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُ فَأَفْطِرُوا فَإِنْ غُمَّ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاقْدُرُوا لَهُ

English Translation
Abu Kamil narrated to us, Ibrahim narrated to us, Ibn Shihab narrated to us, from Salim, from Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When you see the crescent moon, fast, and when you see it, break the fast. If it is cloudy, then estimate for it [complete thirty days].'
