حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَيّ

ُوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا كُنْتُمْ ثَلَاثَةً فَلَا يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ الثَّالِثِ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ يُحْزِنُهُ

English Translation

Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When you are three, two should not converse privately excluding the third, for that grieves him.'
