English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, Nafi' informed me that Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) would sometimes send him while he was fasting, and his supper would be brought to him after the call for Maghrib prayer had been made. Then the prayer would be established while he was hearing it, but he would not leave his supper and would not hasten in it until he finished. Then he would go out and pray. Ibn 'Umar would say: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When supper is served, do not rush it for the prayer."'
