Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ
عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا حَسَدَ إِلَّا فِي اثْنَتَيْنِ رَجُلٌ آتَاهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى هَذَا الْكِتَابَ فَهُوَ يَقُومُ بِهِ آنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَآنَاءَ النَّهَارِ وَرَجُلٌ أَعْطَاهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى مَالًا فَتَصَدَّقَ بِهِ آنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَآنَاءَ النَّهَارِ

English Translation
'Uthman ibn 'Umar narrated to us, Yunus informed us, from al-Zuhri, from Salim ibn Abdullah, from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There is no envy except in two: a man whom Allah has given the Quran and he recites it during the hours of the night and the hours of the day, and a man whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it during the hours of the night and the hours of the day.'
