Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي نُعْمٍ يَقُولُ شَهِدْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ عَنْ مُحْرِمٍ قَتَلَ ذُبَابًا فَقَا
لَ يَا أَهْلَ الْعِرَاقِ تَسْأَلُونِي عَنْ مُحْرِمٍ قَتَلَ ذُبَابًا وَقَدْ قَتَلْتُمْ ابْنَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَدْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هُمَا رَيْحَانَتَيَّ مِنْ الدُّنْيَا

English Translation
Sulayman ibn Dawud narrated to us, Shu'bah informed us, from Muhammad ibn Abi Ya'qub: 'I heard Ibn Abi Nu'm say: "I was present with Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) when a man from the people of Iraq asked him about a person in ihram killing a fly. He said: 'The people of Iraq ask about the killing of a fly while they killed the grandson of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ! I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: They [Hasan and Husayn] are my two sweet basils [rayhanatay] from this world.'"'
