حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْأَهْوَازِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ

عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ صَلَاةُ الْمَغْرِبِ وِتْرُ صَلَاةِ النَّهَارِ فَأَوْتِرُوا صَلَاةَ اللَّيْلِ وَصَلَاةُ اللَّيْلِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى وَالْوَتْرُ رَكْعَةٌ مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ

English Translation

Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Harun ibn Ibrahim al-Ahwazi narrated to us, Muhammad narrated to us, from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The Maghrib prayer is the witr of the daytime prayers, so make the last of your night prayers witr.'
