حَدَّثَنَا أَسْبَاطٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَرْمُلُ

ثَلَاثًا مِنْ الْحَجَرِ إِلَى الْحَجَرِ وَيَمْشِي أَرْبَعًا عَلَى هِينَتِهِ قَالَ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَفْعَلُهُ

English Translation

Asbat narrated to us, Abdullah ibn 'Umar narrated to us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما), that he used to do raml [brisk walking] for three circuits from the Stone to the Stone and walk four at his normal pace. He said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do likewise.'
