English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Hammad ibn Khalid, from Malik, from Nafi' — that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Do not intercept the riders [to buy their goods before they reach the market].' And he forbade al-najsh [artificially inflating a price by bidding without intent to buy].
