حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُوَيْسٍ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ وَحَمْزَةَ ابْنَيْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَهُمَا أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الشُّؤْمُ فِي الْفَرَسِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ وَالدَّارِ
English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Husayn ibn Muhammad, from Abu Uwwys, from al-Zuhri, from Salim and Hamza — sons of 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar — that 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar told them: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Ill-omen [shu'm] is [associated with] the horse, the woman, and the dwelling."'
