حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَزْرَقُ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُخَيْمِرَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَل
َيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا أَحَدٌ مِنْ النَّاسِ يُصَابُ بِبَلَاءٍ فِي جَسَدِهِ إِلَّا أَمَرَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ الَّذِينَ يَحْفَظُونَهُ فَقَالَ اكْتُبُوا لِعَبْدِي كُلَّ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ مَا كَانَ يَعْمَلُ مِنْ خَيْرٍ مَا كَانَ فِي وِثَاقِي

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Ishaq ibn Yusuf al-Azraq, from Sufyan al-Thawri, from 'Alqama ibn Marthad, from al-Qasim ibn Mukhaymir — from the Prophet ﷺ: 'There is no person afflicted with a physical ailment except that Allah (عز وجل) commands the angels who record his deeds: "Write for My servant, in every day and night while he is detained [by illness], the equivalent of the best deeds he used to perform when he was healthy."'
