English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As (رضي الله عنهما) — via al-Walid ibn Muslim, from al-Awza'i, from Hassan ibn 'Atiyya, from Abu Kabsha al-Saluli — that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Convey from me, even if it is one verse. And narrate from the Children of Israel — there is no [sin in that]. And whoever deliberately attributes a lie to me, let him take his seat in the Fire.'
