حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ حَدَّثَنِي حَنْظَلَةُ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْ

دِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَكْرَهُ الْعَلَمَ فِي الصُّورَةِ وَقَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ضَرْبِ الْوَجْهِ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abdullah ibn al-Harith, from Hanzala, from Salim ibn 'Abdullah — that he disliked the badge/emblem on [fabric with] images, and said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade striking the face.'
