Hadith #138
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَضَى أَنَّ مَنْ قُتِلَ خَطَأً فَدِيَتُهُ مِائَةٌ مِنْ الْإِبِلِ ثَلَاثُونَ بِنْتَ مَخَاضٍ وَثَلَاثُونَ بِنْتَ لَبُونٍ وَثَلَاثُونَ حِقَّةً وَعَشَرَةٌ بَنُو لَبُونٍ ذُكُورٌ
English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Husayn, from Muhammad ibn Rashid, from Sulayman, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather — that the Prophet ﷺ ruled that whoever is killed accidentally, his blood money is one hundred camels: thirty bint makhad [one-year-old female camels], thirty bint labun [two-year-old females], thirty hiqqah [three-year-old females], and ten male banu labun [two-year-old males].
