English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yahya, from 'Ubayd Allah ibn al-Akhnas, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather — that he said: 'A Bedouin came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: "My father wants to consume my wealth entirely." He said: "You and your wealth belong to your father. Indeed the best of what you eat is from your own earnings — and the wealth of your children is [also] from your earnings, so eat it with wholesome enjoyment."'
