English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Muhammad ibn Ja'far, from Sa'id, from 'Amir al-Ahwal, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'No one may take back what he has given as a gift — except a parent [taking back from] his child. And the one who reclaims his gift is like the one who reclaims his vomit.'
