حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ لَا يَجُوزُ لِامْرَأَةٍ عَطِيَّةٌ إِلَّا بِإ
ِذْنِ زَوْجِهَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مِثْلَهُ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yahya ibn Hammad, from Abu 'Awana, from Dawud ibn Abi Hind, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather — that the Prophet ﷺ said on the day of the Conquest [of Mecca]: 'A woman's gift is not valid except with the permission of her husband.' [A parallel chain via 'Abd al-Samad, from his father, from Dawud, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, reports the same from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.]
