‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هُبَيْرَةَ ‏ ‏عَنِ ‏ ‏ابْنِ مُرَيْحٍ ‏ ‏مَوْلَى ‏ ‏عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ‏ ‏أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ‏ ‏عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو ‏ ‏يَقُولُ ‏ ‏مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏وَاحِدَةً صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَمَلَائِكَتُهُ سَبْعِينَ صَلَاةً ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Waki', from Sufyan, from 'Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn 'Aqil, from Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn Talha, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever sends one salawat [blessing] upon me — Allah and His angels will send seventy blessings upon him. So let a man do little or much [of this].'
