Hadith #227

حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هُبَيْرَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ مُرَيْحٍ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يَقُولُ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاحِدَةً صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَمَلَائِكَتُهُ سَبْعِينَ صَلَاةً
English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Waki', from Sufyan, from 'Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn 'Aqil, from Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn Talha, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever sends one salawat [blessing] upon me — Allah and His angels will send seventy blessings upon him. So let a man do little or much [of this].'
