حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْر

ٍو قَالَ رَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَوْمًا يَتَوَضَّئُونَ وَأَعْقَابُهُمْ تَلُوحُ فَقَالَ وَيْلٌ لِلْأَعْقَابِ مِنْ النَّارِ أَسْبِغُوا الْوُضُوءَ

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Waki' from Sufyan, and 'Abd al-Rahman from Sufyan — from Mansur, from Hilal ibn Yasaf, from Abu Yahya — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw people performing wudu and their heels were showing [dry and uncleansed]. He said: 'Woe to the heels from the Fire! Complete the wudu thoroughly [asbighu al-wudu'].'
