English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As (رضي الله عنهما) — via Abu al-Mughira, from al-Awza'i, from Hassan ibn 'Atiyya — who heard Abu Kabsha al-Saluli say — who heard 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As say — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There are forty acts of goodness — the highest of them is lending a she-goat [for its milk]. There is no act of goodness from among them that a servant performs hoping for its reward and believing in the truth of its promise — except that Allah will admit him to Paradise through it.'
