English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Affan, from Khalid al-Wasiti al-Tahhan, from Abu Sinan Dirar ibn Murra, from 'Abdullah ibn Abi al-Hudhayl, from a shaykh from al-Nakha' — that he said: 'I entered the mosque of Aelia [Jerusalem] and prayed two rak'ahs at a pillar. A man came and prayed near me and the people gathered around him — and it was 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As. A messenger came from Yazid ibn Mu'awiya: "Come and respond." He said: "This one forbids me from narrating to you, just as his father used to forbid me." And [he said]: "I heard your Prophet (ﷺ) say: 'I seek refuge in You from a soul that is never satisfied, from a heart that is not humble, from a supplication that is not heard, and from knowledge that does not benefit. I seek refuge in You from these four.'"'
