حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَ
نْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ الْمُهَاجِرَ مَنْ هَجَرَ مَا نَهَى اللَّهُ عَنْهُ وَالْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Isma'il — meaning Ibn Abi Khalid — from al-Sha'bi, from Abdullah ibn Amr (رضي الله عنهما), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'Whoever kills a person with a treaty shall not smell the fragrance of Paradise, and its fragrance can be found from a distance of forty years' journey.'
