حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ا
لْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ يَقُولُ كُلُّ حِلْفٍ كَانَ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ لَمْ يَزِدْهُ الْإِسْلَامُ إِلَّا شِدَّةً وَلَا حِلْفَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ

English Translation
Musa ibn Dawud narrated to us, Ibn Abi al-Zinad narrated to us, from Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Harith, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Eat, give charity, and wear clothes, as long as it is without extravagance or arrogance.'
