حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ إِنِّي لَأُسَايِرُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ وَمُعَاوِيَةَ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو لِعَمْرٍو
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ تَقْتُلُهُ الْفِئَةُ الْبَاغِيَةُ يَعْنِي عَمَّارًا فَقَالَ عَمْرٌو لِمُعَاوِيَةَ اسْمَعْ مَا يَقُولُ هَذَا فَحَدَّثَهُ فَقَالَ أَنَحْنُ قَتَلْنَاهُ إِنَّمَا قَتَلَهُ مَنْ جَاءَ بِهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ يَعْنِي الضَّرِيرَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

English Translation
Al-Fadl ibn Dukayn narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Ziyad, from Abdullah ibn al-Harith who said: I was walking alongside Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As (رضي الله عنهما) when he said: 'We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey, and we stopped at a campsite. Some of us were mending their tents, others were shooting arrows in contest, and others were looking after their animals, when the caller of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ announced: the congregational prayer!'
