Hadith #410

English Translation
Yazid informed us, al-Hajjaj ibn Artah informed us, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather who said: A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I have wealth and a child, and my father wants to take my wealth.' He said: 'You and your wealth belong to your father. Indeed the most wholesome of what you eat is from your own earning, and the wealth of your children is from your earning. So eat from it pleasantly.'
