حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ عَنِ الْمُثَنَّى بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ عَنْ عَ
مْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُفْرٌ بِاللَّهِ تَبَرُّؤٌ مِنْ نَسَبٍ وَإِنْ دَقَّ أَوْ ادِّعَاءٌ إِلَى نَسَبٍ لَا يُعْرَفُ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Ali ibn 'Asim, from al-Muthanna ibn al-Sabbah, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Disavowal of one's lineage is disbelief in Allah, even if it is a minor [lineage]. And so is claiming a lineage that is not recognized.'
