English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abd al-Wahhab, from Husayn, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather — that a man asked the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'I have no wealth of my own, but I have an orphan in my care.' He said: 'Eat from your orphan's wealth — without extravagance, without squandering, and without accumulating it as your own wealth — and without using it to shield your own wealth' — or he said: 'to ransom your own wealth with his wealth.' [Husayn was uncertain about the exact wording.]
