حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ سَمِعْتُهُ يُحَدِّثُ يَعْنِي أَبَاهُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْهَادِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَا
لَ فِي مَجْلِسٍ أَلَا أُحَدِّثُكُمْ بِأَحَبِّكُمْ إِلَيَّ وَأَقْرَبِكُمْ مِنِّي مَجْلِسًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ يَقُولُهَا قَالَ قُلْنَا بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ فَقَالَ أَحْسَنُكُمْ أَخْلَاقًا

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Ya'qub, from his father, from Yazid ibn al-Had, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from Muhammad ibn 'Abdullah, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr — that he said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said — in a gathering, saying it three times: 'Shall I not tell you of the most beloved of you to me and the nearest of you to me in seating on the Day of Resurrection?' They said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'Those of you with the best character.'
