حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ

عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ بَنَى لِلَّهِ مَسْجِدًا بُنِيَ لَهُ بَيْتٌ أَوْسَعُ مِنْهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Affan, from 'Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad, from al-Hajjaj, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather — from the Prophet ﷺ: 'Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah — Allah will build for him a house in Paradise more spacious than it.'
