حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ خَلِيفَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَنَابٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَتَوَضَّأُ وُضُوءًا مَكِيثًا فَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَنَظَرَ إِلَيَّ فَقَالَ سِتٌّ فِيكُمْ أَيَّتُهَا الْأُمَّةُ مَوْتُ نَبِيِّكُمْ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَكَأَنَّمَا انْتَزَعَ قَلْبِي مِنْ مَكَانِهِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاحِدَةٌ قَالَ وَيَفِيضُ الْمَالُ فِيكُمْ حَتَّى إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيُعْطَى عَشَرَةَ آلَافٍ فَيَظَلُّ يَتَسَخَّطُهَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثِنْتَيْنِ قَالَ وَفِتْنَةٌ تَدْخُلُ بَيْتَ كُلِّ رَجُلٍ مِنْك
ُمْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَلَاثٌ قَالَ وَمَوْتٌ كَقُعَاصِ الْغَنَمِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْبَعٌ وَهُدْنَةٌ تَكُونُ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَ بَنِي الْأَصْفَرِ لَيَجْمَعُونَ لَكُمْ تِسْعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ كَقَدْرِ حَمْلِ الْمَرْأَةِ ثُمَّ يَكُونُونَ أَوْلَى بِالْغَدْرِ مِنْكُمْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَمْسٌ قَالَ وَفَتْحُ مَدِينَةٍ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ سِتٌّ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيُّ مَدِينَةٍ قَالَ قَسْطَنْطِيْنِيَّةُ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Hasan, from Khalaf ibn Khalifa, from Abu Janab, from his father — that he said: 'I entered upon the Prophet ﷺ while he was performing wudu slowly and deliberately. He raised his head and looked at me and said: "There are six [matters] in you, O ummah [of Muhammad] — I know not whether you will attain them: the authority will come to your foolish ones, breaches of covenant will multiply, the killing of [each other] will increase, the treacherous person will be trusted and the trustworthy person will be accused of treachery, and there will appear among you readers of the Quran whose throats it does not pass."'
