حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ حَفِظْتُ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ ضَمْضَمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِ الْأَسْوَدَيْنِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ الْعَقْرَبِ وَالْحَيَّةِ
English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Sufyan [who said: I memorized it from Ma'mar, from Yahya who informed him], from Damdham — that the Prophet ﷺ commanded killing the two black ones [al-aswadayn] during prayer: the scorpion and the snake.
