أبو معاوية
الأعمش وابن نمير
English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Abu Mu'awiya [and Ibn Numayr] from al-A'mash, from Abu Salih — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever relieves a believer of one of the distresses of this world — Allah will relieve him of one of the distresses of the Day of Resurrection. Whoever conceals [the faults of] a Muslim, Allah will conceal him in this world and the Hereafter. Whoever eases [the difficulty of] an insolvent person, Allah will ease his affairs in this world and the Hereafter. Allah is in the aid of the servant as long as the servant is in the aid of his brother. Whoever treads a path seeking knowledge — Allah will ease for him through it a path to Paradise. No group gathers in one of the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it among themselves, except that tranquility [al-sakina] descends upon them, mercy envelops them, the angels surround them, and Allah (عز وجل) mentions them among those in His presence. And whoever is slowed down [in reaching Paradise] by his deeds — his lineage will not speed him forward.'
