English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Abu Mu'awiya, from al-A'mash, from Abu Salih — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever kills himself with iron — his iron will be in his hand, stabbing himself with it in his belly, in the fire of Jahannam, abiding therein forever and ever. Whoever kills himself with poison — his poison will be in his hand, which he will sip in the fire of Jahannam, abiding therein forever and ever. Whoever throws himself from a mountain and kills himself — he will be hurled down [repeatedly] in the fire of Jahannam, abiding therein forever and ever.'
