English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Rib'i [ibn Ibrahim], from 'Abd al-Rahman [ibn Ishaq], from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a man driving a badana [sacrificial camel on foot] and said: 'Ride it, woe to you!' He said: 'But it is a badana [dedicated sacrificial animal].' He said: 'Ride it, woe to you!' He said: 'But it is a badana.' He said: 'Ride it, woe to you!'
