حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ فَر

َاهِيجَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا زَالَ جِبْرِيلُ يُوصِينِي بِالْجَارِ حَتَّى ظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ سَيُوَرِّثُهُ

English Translation
Abd al-Wahid narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Dawud ibn Farahij who said: I heard Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) say: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Jibril عليه السلام kept advising me to be good to the neighbor until I thought he would make him an heir.'
