حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ عَنْ عَوْفٍ عَنْ خِلَاسٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أ

َنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَعُودُ فِي عَطِيَّتِهِ كَمَثَلِ الْكَلْبِ يَأْكُلُ حَتَّى إِذَا شَبِعَ قَاءَ ثُمَّ عَادَ فِي قَيْئِهِ فَأَكَلَهُ

English Translation
Abd al-Wahid narrated to us, from 'Awf, from Khilas, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The likeness of the one who takes back his gift is like the dog that eats until it vomits, then returns to its vomit.'
