حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَفْصٍ أَخْبَرَنَا وَرْقَاءُ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَ

ادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ الْخَلْقَ كَتَبَ كِتَابًا فَهُوَ عِنْدَهُ فَوْقَ الْعَرْشِ إِنَّ رَحْمَتِي سَبَقَتْ غَضَبِي

English Translation
Ali ibn Hafs narrated to us, Warqa' informed us, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When Allah created the creation, He wrote in a Book that is with Him above the Throne: Indeed My mercy prevails over My wrath.'
