Abd al-A'la narrated to us, Yunus narrated to us, from al-Hasan, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: They mentioned a man in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ — or a man said: 'O Messenger of Allah, so-and-so prays at night but steals in the morning.' He said: 'What you are mentioning (of his prayer) will prevent him from that, or his prayer will restrain him.'
