English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra and Abu Sa'id (رضي الله عنهما) — via Muhammad ibn Fudayl, from Dirar [Abu Sinan], from Abu Salih — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Indeed Allah says: "Fasting is for Me and I reward it. The fasting person has two joys: when he breaks his fast he rejoices, and when he meets Allah and He rewards him, he rejoices." By the One in Whose hand is Muhammad's soul, the change in the mouth odor of the fasting person is more pleasant to Allah than the scent of musk.'
