حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ
عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ ثُمَّ جَلَسَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ لَمْ تَزَلْ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ أَوْ يَقُومْ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Ya'la, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, from al-'Ala' ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, from his father — that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'When one of you prays and then sits in his prayer place, the angels continue saying: "O Allah, forgive him; O Allah, have mercy on him" — as long as he does not break his wudu [yuhdith] or leave.'
