English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Malik, from al-'Ala' ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, from his father — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Shall I not guide you to what Allah expiates sins with and raises degrees [in Paradise]? Steps to the mosques, thorough wudu in times of hardship [cold, illness, etc.], and waiting for the [next] prayer after [completing] the prayer. That is al-ribat [spiritual vigilance — the highest rank of dedication].'
